Originally a 2012 remake of the 1989 Ys IV titles (Mask of the Sun and Dawn of Ys), this version refines the 2018 PS4 remaster with new features, making it the definitive way to experience the Celceta arc.

The game follows Adol as he explores the lush, uncharted forest of Celceta, recovering his lost memories while uncovering a plot involving ancient artifacts and a mysterious girl named Karna.
