Building Community Through Gaming at MVHS

Laughter erupts from the Student Union as a Mario Kart match reaches its final stretch. Between quick rounds of Super Smash Bros., senior Aditi Charmarthy manages tournament brackets, determined to ensure everyone is offered a chance to play. As president of the unofficial video game club at MVHS, Charmarthy has worked tirelessly to create a welcoming environment where students can come together over their shared passion for gaming.

The club has become a hub for students to connect, unwind, and engage in friendly competition. Each meeting is filled with excitement as players of all skill levels join in to test their abilities and cheer each other on. The atmosphere is electric, with camaraderie growing among participants who share tips, strategies, and plenty of laughter.

Charmarthy's leadership has not only fostered a love for gaming but has also strengthened friendships and built a sense of belonging within the school community. As the club continues to grow, it promises to remain a vibrant space for students to celebrate their enthusiasm for video games.
